A downloadable game for Windows

⬇⬇GAME HAS NO TUTORIAL, PLS CHECK INSTRUCTIONS ⬇⬇

Boy howdy, never let anyone convince you to make a rhythm game for a game jam.

In the height of the jam anxiety I was really feeling like I wasn't going to be able to figure it out and we should've went with the ribbit king inspired dice based frolf game idea. But this turned out pretty cool in the end.

Gameplay kinda inspired by muse dash.
There's 3 different song modes each with a different bpm that can be switched between with the dice.
There's also a few different loops per each song to randomize with dice, as well as a couple different instrument tracks to swap between on the fly.

We wanted to have the game start off easy but ended up not having enough time to balance things, so the game is quite punishing at start.

Feel free to post high scores I guess.

Controls/Instructions:

F or Up to jump and hit top notes.

J or Right to hit bottom notes

Make sure to press both for double notes, and hold for connected notes.

avoid obstacles by jumping/floating.

pick up yellow dice to roll for song changes.

 Gamepad might also kinda work.

there's a health bar on the bottom of the screen, you lose health by missing notes or hitting obstacles. When you lose, the menu pops up again, you have to click the play button to try again.

Some More Obscure Mechanics:
-When the beat changes and the notes fall, you get a grace period, take this as bonus time to collect the fallen notes as they wont count against you but will still count for you!
-The dice notes don't have to be collected and wont count against you if you miss them. This can be nice if you want to avoid changing a desirable beat pattern.
-To avoid spikes, sometimes its easier to hold up and tap down to hit downward notes, spamming up will keep you airborne while hitting notes. Still, it's accidentally really hard to dodge spikes anyway.

Wanted to make a WebGL build but FMod really doesnt like music in WebGL.

Pretty much it.
